The quiz will cover material from lecture and lecture notes up to
and including 24 September and laboratories up to and including
Laboratory 2, Nodes and Channels.

The exam will follow a novel "negative multiple choice" format,
so please be sure that you have read the Quiz handout which explains
this format. It is available at:

http://www-cs101.ai.mit.edu/courses/fall97/handouts/quiz.html

For those of you who are wondering, the quiz will *not* cover the
following:
packages
FSMs

Also, although the Balance Lab is technically not covered by the exam,
it actually covers materials which were covered by Sept. 24, and which
*will* thus be covered in the exam. For example, you are expected to know
the "scoping" rules (discussed in the lecture notes for Sept. 24, I think,
or maybe earlier) which you are being tested on in Finger Exercises 1
(the one about bar). So, please make sure you understand the
Finger Exercises in the Balance Lab.

Feel free to ask any of the course staff if you have any questions.
Office hours (in lab) this weekend are:

Saturday 2-4pm Craig
Sunday 1-3pm Luis

Good luck!
