We are trying to assemble lecture notes for 6.096 this term. For many
reasons, we would like you to be the ones to assemble them. The deal is
this: one student per lecture can volunteer to take "good" notes for that
day. That person is then responsible for converting those notes to html
withing ~three days. In return, your lowest problem set score will be
dropped from the grading procedure.
We would like to keep the notes (at least marginally) standard. We're not
looking for anything terribly fancy, just a good presentation of what was
given in lecture. I will have an html template availble for you to use by
monday in /mit/6.096/share/notes-template.html
This information (with more specifics) will be posted to the course web
page.
Questions, comments, flames and/or philosophical digressions should be
sent to tparnell@ai.mit.edu regarding this matter.
Thanks,
Todd
